State College―Attorney H. Amos Goodall, of Steinbacher, Goodall & Yurchak, an elder care law firm with offices in Williamsport and State College, PA has accepted an invitation to serve on the Elder Law Advisory Board at Stetson University College of Law. Stetson University’s College of Law is located in Gulfport, Florida. The advisory board is committed to furthering the work of the College of Law’s Center for Excellence in Elder Law. Attorney Goodall is considered a valued addition to the advisory board because of his experience as an elder law attorney, and his understanding of the issues that affect practitioners of elder law as well as seniors. He has been asked to provide a level of guidance and insight that will enhance the focus of the Center as it provides legal education to students, attorneys, and judges. It is noted that Attorney Goodall received his LL.M in Elder Law at Stetson. The Center for Excellence in Elder Law at Stetson University fosters mindfulness toward public service that enhances the lives of the aged population.
In addition to the honor of joining the Elder Law Advisory Board at Stetson, Attorney Goodall recently represented the National Elder Law Foundation in presenting the Award for Excellence in Elder Law to Professor Rebecca Morgan, co-director of the Stetson University Center for Excellence in Elder Law. Goodall is a member of the board of directors of the National Elder Law Foundation and served on the award nominations committee.
