The peer review panel for “Best Lawyers in America” has again selected H. Amos Goodall, Jr., currently practicing with Steinbacher, Goodall & Yurchak, for listing in the 2016 edition of “Best Lawyers in America.” The State College attorney is listed for his work in Elder Law and Trusts and Estates. This is the eighth consecutive year he has been listed in “Best Lawyers in America.” This annual, advertisement-free publication has been described by “The American Lawyer” (“the leading daily news source covering legal business, law firms, and lawyers across the U.S. and around the world”) as “the most respected referral list of attorneys in practice.”
Best Lawyers® compiles lists of outstanding attorneys by conducting exhaustive peer-review surveys comprising nearly 5 million confidential evaluations by the top attorneys in the country. Selection to Best Lawyers® is based on an exhaustive and rigorous peer-review survey. Because no fee or purchase is required, being listed in Best Lawyers® is considered a singular honor.
Goodall, who is Certified as an Elder Law Attorney (CELA) by the National Elder Law Foundation, has practiced in Centre County since 1976. He is a member and Fellow of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys (NAELA) as well as the Elder Law Section of the Pennsylvania Bar Association. In addition, Goodall is a Fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel, and a member of the Special Needs Alliance―a private network of attorneys whose mission is to help enhance the quality of life for people who have disabilities by coordinating private resources with public benefit programs. He has also earned an LL.M. degree (with honors) in Elder Law from Stetson University School of Law, and a Juris Doctor degree from Fordham University School of Law.
