Steinbacher, Goodall & Yurchak, an elder law and special needs law firm with locations in State College and Williamsport, Pa., is pleased to announce that it has acquired the Law Offices of Leslie Wizelman in Wyalusing and Wysox, Pa., effective May 3, 2021. The firm will continue to be known as Steinbacher, Goodall & Yurchak in all four locations.
Attorney Wizelman, who has practiced law in Bradford County since 1983, recently announced her retirement. Steinbacher, Goodall & Yurchak will assume control of all operations of Attorney Wizelman’s former offices in Wyalusing and Wysox. There will be no immediate changes to the staff, office locations or scope of legal services, as all five of Attorney Wizelman’s staff members will join the Steinbacher, Goodall & Yurchak team.
Legal services offered by Attorney Wizelman include but aren’t limited to long term care and asset protection planning, Medicaid planning and applications, estate planning, special needs planning, guardianships, care management, and estate administration – all of which are also offered by Steinbacher, Goodall & Yurchak, making for an easier and near seamless transition.
“Attorney Wizelman has an outstanding reputation and has spent her entire career providing elder law and estate planning services to members of her community that would otherwise be underserved, with her being the only Certified Elder Law Attorney (CELA) in the Northern Tier. We look forward to continuing this same level of service that her clients have come to expect, and we wish her the best and congratulations on a well-deserved retirement,” said Julie Steinbacher, CELA, founding shareholder of Steinbacher, Goodall & Yurchak.
Attorney Landon Hodges, who has been with Steinbacher, Goodall & Yurchak since 2017, will become a partner of the firm, and will handle most attorney-related duties for clients out of the Wyalusing and Wysox offices.
