Benefits

  • Paid Time off (PTO): Steinbacher, Goodall & Yurchak offers paid time off that can be used by the employee for vacation, sickness, and personal reasons. The amount of paid time off accrued annually is based on the employee’s regular work schedule and the number of years that employee has worked for the firm.
  • Paid Holidays: New Year’s Day, Winter Holiday, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve
  • Birthday day off
  • Paid Bereavement: If an employee loses a close relative, he or she will be allowed paid time off up to three (3) workdays to assist the employee in attending to his or her obligations and commitments.
  • Jury Duty: Wages will be paid for a maximum of two (2) days of jury duty service per calendar year for regular full-time employees.
  • Group Insurance: Steinbacher, Goodall & Yurchak currently offers the following for employees who work a regular schedule of at least thirty (30) hours per week: health insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, short-term disability insurance, long-term disability insurance, group life insurance, and voluntary life insurance for employee and dependents. Employees are eligible for insurances on starting on the first day of employment.
  • Retirement Plan: Steinbacher, Goodall & Yurchak offers a Savings Incentive Match Plan for Employees Individual Retirement Account (SIMPLE IRA) for all regular full-time and part-time employees. The account is administered through an investment firm of the employee’s choice and managed internally by Steinbacher, Goodall & Yurchak. Steinbacher, Goodall & Yurchak makes matching contributions equal to 100% of the elective deferrals that does not exceed three percent (3%) of annual compensation. Employees are eligible to participate in the firm’s retirement plan as soon as their account is opened.
  • Gym Membership: Steinbacher, Goodall & Yurchak will reimburse for the Planet Fitness basic membership fee of $10 per month for three (3) months, as long as the employee attends once a week during the entire month. Regular full-time and part-time employees are eligible following ninety (90) days of employment.
  • Tuition Assistance Program: Steinbacher, Goodall & Yurchak will pay fifty percent (50%) of the per credit charge, up to a maximum of $5,250 per calendar year for eligible courses. Regular full-time employees are eligible following five (5) years of employment.
  • Student Loan Assistance Program: Steinbacher, goodall and Yurchak will make a one-time $1,000 student loan assistance payment to their student loan provider at their one-year anniversary with the firm. During the second year of employment, up to $100 per month in student loan assistance payments, paid directly to the student loan provider. During the third year of employment and on, up to $200 per month in student loan assistance payments, paid directly to the student loan provider.

Steinbacher, Goodall & Yurchak is an elder law and special needs law firm that specializes in assisting with planning for the second half of life. Our employees are comprised of paralegals, legal assistants, long-term care planners, attorneys, and administrative professionals.

The firm specializes in many types of planning, including: Estate Planning, Long-Term Care Planning, Nursing Home Medicaid Planning, Special Needs Planning, Wealth and Tax Protection Planning, Business Succession Planning, and Veterans Planning. In addition to our planning departments, we assist with guardianships, resolve litigation matters, and assist in the estate administration process.

We have four permanent full-time locations to better serve our clients. We are located in State College/Altoona, Wilkes-Barre, Williamsport, and Wyalusing/Wysox, Pennsylvania.

Our Williamsport location is also home to our Elder and Special Needs Resource Center, which provides the Williamsport community with seminars on various topics and community resources.
