Phoebe Watson joined Steinbacher, Goodall & Yurchak in May 2025 and serves as a Long-Term Care Coordinator for the State College and Altoona offices. She brings a strong background in helping individuals and families navigate complex systems, including Medicare, Medicaid, aging services, and community-based support programs.

Phoebe holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Counseling and has experience with Medicaid and Medicare eligibility and enrollment. Before joining the firm, she worked in several roles focused on advocacy, guidance, and client support, including as an Office of Aging Center Manager, Correctional Officer and Corrections Counselor with the Pennsylvania Department of Corrections, PA MEDI counselor, and in intake and enrollment with the LIFE Center.

In her day-to-day role, Phoebe helps clients and families navigate aging in place, Medicaid programs such as CHC Waiver and LIFE, and nursing home placement options. She is passionate about connecting people with the resources and support they need during important life transitions.

Phoebe lives in Clinton County, Pennsylvania. Outside of work, she enjoys volunteering with nonprofits, including Sleep in Heavenly Peace, the Bald Eagle Nittany Valley Kiwanis, and the Alzheimer’s Association. She also enjoys hiking, thrifting, and antiquing. Phoebe and her husband have two sons: one pursuing a Ph.D. in Chemistry at the University of Georgia and one serving in the Army at Fort Campbell, Kentucky.
