Sydney has been employed as a long-term care planner with Steinbacher, Goodall & Yurchak since May 2023. Previously to her position as a long-term care planner, she was employed as an elder care navigation intern concurring her graduating semester at Pennsylvania College of Technology. 

Sydney is a 2023 graduate of Pennsylvania College of Technology. She graduated Summa Cum Laude with a bachelor’s degree in human services and restorative justice with minors in psychology and emergency management. During her time at Penn College, she was President of the Student Government Association and a member of the Alphi Chi Honor Society. She was also the recipient of the Davie Jane Gilmour Award for Leadership and Service to Penn College, the Student Leader Legacy Scholarship, and the Women’s Exemplar Award. 

As a long-term care planner, Sydney assists clients of the firm in exploring their options for long-term care services and in applying for benefits to pay for in-home and nursing home care. She is dedicated to guiding elders and their families as they navigate community resources, consider their choices, and work toward the outcomes that matter most to them.

Sydney resides in Montoursville with her partner, Alexander, and her two cats, Hubert and Henry. In her free time, she enjoys fishing with her father, spending time outside, and gardening
