Cortney Steinbacher serves as the Chief Financial Officer of Steinbacher, Goodall & Yurchak, where she oversees the firm's financial operations, strategic planning, budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial health. Since becoming CFO in June 2025, she has worked closely with leadership to help the firm make informed decisions, improve efficiency, and support continued growth.

In addition to her role at SGY, Cortney serves as the Chief Financial & Systems Officer for The Million Dollar Solution (MDS), where she helps law firm owners across the country better understand their numbers, improve profitability, and build stronger businesses. Having grown through multiple accounting and financial leadership positions within SGY before stepping into the CFO role, she brings both hands-on experience and practical insight to every challenge. She is passionate about helping organizations create systems and strategies that make financial success more predictable and sustainable.

Cortney holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and a Master of Science in Accounting from Northeastern University. Her background includes internships with Ernst & Young and TJX Companies, as well as public accounting experience with RSM in Boston. She is also a Kolbe Certified Consultant, an Actionstep Partner, and the author of Fixed Fee Formula, where she shares practical strategies for building profitable, sustainable businesses.

Based in Boston, Massachusetts, Cortney is known for making financial information easier to understand and turning complex challenges into actionable solutions. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading, traveling, and walking her dog, Minnie, along Boston Harbor.
