Jasmyn Winey is an Elder Care Navigator out of our Muncy location. She has a strong background in social work and long-term care. A licensed Personal Care Home Administrator with over 5 years of experience in that role, she has also worked in marketing and admissions in both personal care and skilled nursing settings. She serves on our Leadership and Strategic Planning Committees where she lends us her talents in workforce development and management.
Jasmyn is a dementia practitioner and serves on the Bloomsburg Area’s Walk to End Alzheimer’s planning committee. She is an Alzheimer’s Association Community Educator, a founding member of Dementia Friendly Lycoming County, and serves on the Pennsylvania Office of Alzheimer’s and Related Diseases Community and Clinical Linkages Workgroup.
She brings to her role a wealth of knowledge and numerous connections to better serve our clients as she assists them in navigating their second-half of life.
Jasmyn graduated from Indiana University of Pennsylvania in 2006 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology. Upon graduation she served for two years in AmeriCorps through the Pennsylvania Mountain Service Corp in Johnstown at a Community Action Agency.
Outside of the office, Jasmyn volunteers as a 4-H Leader, serves on the Montour County 4-H Youth Development Board, and spends her time being her three children’s biggest cheerleader at their numerous musical, sporting and 4-H events. Sometimes you’ll even catch her in a coaching role. In her spare time her hobbies include cooking, canning, reading, kayaking and traveling with her family.
