Episode 4 is titled "What's New in Elder Law in 2020 - Part 1," and features Attorneys Julie Steinbacher and Landon Hodges, who discuss some of the recent changes to laws affecting those in their second half of life, with a focus on policies that could affect estate and wealth protection planning. Trusts, retirement benefits, the SECURE Act, the CARES Act and other statues and policies that deal with IRAs, 401(k)s, and other retirement plans are the primary focus. These changes are important for all current and future clients to know about if they wish to safeguard their financial futures. This podcast is a recording of a virtual seminar presented exclusively to the firm's current clients April 21-22, 2020, and it is now being made available for everyone. A video of the presentation, complete with PowerPoint slides, can also be viewed on YouTube.
