The Second Half of Life podcast, which explores the many issues and topics related to elder law and is produced by Steinbacher, Goodall & Yurchak, is out with its latest episode. Additionally, the podcast is now available on even more podcast directories, giving those interested more options for listening. Individuals interested in learning more about planning for their second half of life can hear the latest episode and past and future episodes on Bullhorn, Overcast, Pocket Casts, Castro and Castbox

Episode 5, which was dropped last week, is titled "Estate Planning 101." In this episode, Attorney Brittany Smith and Long-Term Care Planner Tammy Zilske give an overview of the basics of estate planning and give people the tools they need to make sure their estate planning is the best it can be and up-to-date with current law. Among the several items of discussion are when you should begin plannnig, why your latest Will may not be enough, why your Power of Attorney may need updated, how the costs of long-term care can deplete your estate, types and uses of trusts and much more. This podcast is an audio recording of a virtual seminar that was originally presented on April 28, 2020.
