Steinbacher, Goodall & Yurchak, an elder law firm with seven locations throughout northeastern, north central and central Pennsylvania, has been named a Top 100 Organization by Pennsylvania Business Central in its annual list of Top 100 organizations. This list by the business publication recognizes leading organizations in their chosen fields, "bringing new ideas, technology and services to their counties and spheres of influence." Nominees from PA Business Central's 23-county readership are submitted and the Top 100 are selected by an editorial committee due to their positive impacts in the business community of Central Pennsylvania.

This marks the seventh consecutive year that Steinbacher, Goodall & Yurchak has been named in the Top 100 Organizations list. It has also been included on this list several other times in the past, including in 2017. This latest honor adds to a string of recent honors for the firm and several of its associates. Last year, SGY was named to the Best Law Firm® rankings by Best Lawyers in its annual Best Law Firm Rankings, an annual peer-to-peer rankings service, which marked the  second straight year that SGY was listed in these rankings. SGY was also named to U.S. News & World Report's "Best Law Firms" in Pennsylvania in 2018, and was awarded the Business Partnership of the Year by the PA Future Business Leaders of America in 2020. The firm was also named to Pennsylvania Business Central's Fifty to Follow Women-Owned Businesses (formerly called the Top 50 Woman Owned Businesses) last year for the fourth consecutive year, and the seventh time in the last nine years.Individually, last year, Attorneys Jenna Franks and Landon Hodges earned their Certified Elder Law Attorney certification (CELA), giving the firm three CELAs, which is the most of any firm in SGY's geographic footprint and the second-most of any law firm in Pennsylvania, which has just 65 CELAs throughout the entire state (as of June 2025).

SGY was founded in 2002 by Attorney Julie Steinbacher, who opened a single office in Williamsport, Pa., and for over the last two decades, has assisted thousands of clients with their legal planning needs for their second half of life. The firm acquired the State College elder law firm of Goodall & Yurchak in 2015. In 2021, upon the retirement of Attorney Leslie Wizelman, SGY acquired her former elder law firm with locations in Wyalusing and Wysox. In 2023, the firm opened new locations in both Altoona and Wilkes-Barre. In 2024, the firm acquired the Muncy law office of Howard Langdon, which became its seventh location. The firm’s mission is to provide protection in times of prosperity, security in times of uncertainty and comfort in times of crisis. It provides a full suite of elder law services, which include but aren’t limited to wills, powers of attorney, special needs planning, estate administration, guardianships, long-term care planning, nursing home Medicaid planning, wealth protection and tax planning, business succession planning, veterans’ benefits planning, elder care navigation, and Alzheimer’s and dementia planning.
