Steinbacher, Goodall & Yurchak, an elder law firm with seven locations across northeastern and central Pennsylvania, is pleased to announce the addition of Attorney Joseph Fiorillo, Attorney Kaitlyn Force and Attorney John Gomolchak to the firm as associate attorneys. Joe works out of the firm's Wyalusing and Wysox offices, Kaitlyn will be working out of the Muncy, Wilkes-Barre and Williamsport offices, and John will be working out of the Williamsport office. All three come to SGY with previous legal experience. 

Joe comes to SGY after spending the last two years as an associate attorney at Oliver, Price & Rhodes in Clarks Summit, Pa. While there, he handled estate planning and administration cases as well as cases involving civil litigation. He also worked with cases involving real estate, immigration petitions, divorce proceedings, business, labor and employment law, as well as trademark infringement cases. Within the elder law area, he has handled numerous client issues including wills, powers of attorney, irrevocable and revocable trusts, and the entire estate administration process. Prior to joining Oliver, Price & Rhodes as an attorney, he served as a legal intern for a year. He holds his law degree from Duquesne University, and while in law school, he served in the University's Wills and Healthcare Clinic, where he met with prospective and current clients to discuss estate planning, explain Pennsylvania's estate planning laws and also drafted various estate planning documents. He holds an undergraduate degree from the University of Scranton and between undergrad and law school, also served as a law clerk intern for Lackawanna County. 



Kaitlyn joins SGY after a stint as an associate attorney at Rebar Kelly in Blue Bell, Pa., where she managed a diverse caseload involving contract disputes, fraud, personal injury, construction litigation, and complex liability matters from inception through resolution. A native of Northeastern Pennsylvania, she completed her law degree from the University of Delaware last year and also holds an undergraduate degree from Sacred Heart University. Prior to and while working toward her law degree, she also worked as a claim operations associate for Berkshire Hathaway Guard Insurance based in Wilkes-Barre. In that role, she managed responses to medical record requests and subpoenas in support of litigation and claims handling and supported the legal operations team by maintaining and organizing litigation calendars, and she also designed and implemented internal tracking systems to enhance efficiency. 

John comes to SGY after previously serving as a solo practitioner for his own law office based in Erie, Pa. for the last 29 years. While operating the Gomolchak Law Office, his practices areas included estate planning and administration, taxation, business law, bankruptcy, real estate, family law, social security disability, unemployment and nonprofits. He also served stints as Vice President and General Counsel at Orius Broadband Services and as an associate attorney at Quinn Law Firm in Erie. He also has previous experience in several finance roles for various companies such as Equibank, Erie Airways, Ridg-U-Rak, Erie Coca-Cola Bottling and First National Bank of Pennsylvania. He has also held the role of adjunct faculty in several law classes at Gannon University, and as an associate professor at Thiel College, where he also instructs in numerous legal courses. He holds a law degree from Duquesne University and an undergraduate degree from Gannon.
