Steinbacher, Goodall & Yurchak is proud to announce that five of the firm’s attorneys have been named to the 2026 Super Lawyers® and Rising Stars lists.

Attorneys Amos Goodall, Kathleen Yurchak and Julieanne Steinbacher were named 2026 Super Lawyers. Attorneys Landon Hodges and Megan Ingram were named 2026 Rising Stars.

Produced and compiled by Thomson Reuters, Super Lawyers is a rating service of outstanding lawyers from more than 70 practice areas who have attained a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement. The patented, multiphase selection process includes independent research, peer nominations and peer evaluations. Selections are made annually and on a state-by-state basis.

The Rising Stars selection process is the same as the Super Lawyers selection process, with one key difference: candidates must be either 40 years old or younger or in practice for 10 years or less. While up to five percent of lawyers in each state are named to Super Lawyers, Rising Stars represent no more than 2.5 percent of lawyers in each state.

Julieanne E. Steinbacher, CELA*, founding shareholder of Steinbacher, Goodall & Yurchak, has now been named to the Super Lawyers list for seven consecutive years, beginning in 2020. She was also previously recognized as a Rising Star from 2011 to 2013. Julieanne has been licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania since 2000 and founded the firm in 2002. Her practice focuses on elder law, estate planning, special needs planning, long-term care planning and helping families prepare for the second half of life.

Amos Goodall has earned the Super Lawyers designation for the 22nd consecutive year, having been recognized every year since 2005. He has practiced law in State College, Pennsylvania, since 1974 and, along with Kathleen Yurchak, founded the law firm of Goodall & Yurchak, which was acquired by Steinbacher Law in 2015. Amos continues to bring decades of experience and trusted legal guidance to clients and families throughout central Pennsylvania.

Kathleen Yurchak has been named to the Super Lawyers list for the fifth consecutive year, beginning in 2022. She began practicing law in Pennsylvania in 1989 and has more than 25 years of experience handling complex litigation matters in state and federal courts. Her work has included employment disputes, Title IX complaints, breach of contract, defamation, product liability, bankruptcy and trustee issues, insurance coverage, will disputes, partnership disputes, civil rights litigation and more. Kathleen also handles the firm’s estate administration department in the State College office.

Landon R. Hodges, CELA*, has been named a Rising Star for the seventh consecutive year, beginning in 2020. He joined Steinbacher, Goodall & Yurchak in 2017 and became a partner in 2021. Landon practices in the firm’s Muncy, Williamsport, Wysox, Wyalusing and Wilkes-Barre offices. His practice areas include wealth protection planning, long-term care planning, tax planning, life care planning and estate administration. Landon has also successfully argued before the Pennsylvania Commonwealth Court in a case that set a statewide precedent affecting inheritance taxes applied to trusts.

Megan Ingram has been named a Rising Star for the fifth consecutive year, beginning in 2022. She joined Steinbacher, Goodall & Yurchak after previously working with the firm as a legal assistant during law school. A summa cum laude graduate of Penn State Law, Megan practices out of the firm’s State College office and leads the firm’s special needs planning department. Her work helps individuals with disabilities and their families plan for long-term care, benefits, protection and peace of mind.

The firm congratulates Julieanne, Amos, Kathleen, Landon and Megan on this well-deserved recognition and thanks them for their continued dedication to serving clients, families and communities across Pennsylvania.
