Steinbacher, Goodall & Yurchak is proud to announce that founding shareholder Julieanne E. Steinbacher, Esq., CELA, LL.M has been accepted into the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys’ Council of Advanced Practitioners (NAELA CAP).

Membership in CAP is reserved for highly experienced attorneys who have demonstrated outstanding leadership, knowledge, and dedication within the fields of elder law and special needs law. Julie was invited to join after CAP members reviewed her application and determined that her experience and contributions would make her an asset to the Council.

Founded in 2003, the Council of Advanced Practitioners was created to provide advanced education, collaboration, and professional resources for some of the NAELA's most experienced members. CAP brings together veteran elder and special needs law attorneys from across the country for high-level discussions, continuing education, and meaningful collaboration. Its annual program focuses on emerging legal issues, complex planning strategies, and the challenges experienced attorneys encounter while serving older adults, individuals with disabilities, and their families.

This exclusive group has approximately just 70 CAP members nationally, with Julie the only current CAP member in Pennsylvania as of August 2026. This is just the latest in a long line of professional accomplishments and credentials for Julie. She is one of just 64 Certified Elder Law Attorneys in the state, and one of just 81 Fellows of the American College of Trust & Estate Counsel (ACTEC) in Pennsylvania, and is one of just eight individuals in the state with both credentials (as of Aug. 2026).

Hear Julie talk about this impressive honor on a recent airing of Studio 814.
