Alexandra Garver joined Steinbacher, Goodall & Yurchak in October 2024 as an associate attorney. A 2024 graduate of Penn State Law, Alexandra works out of our Altoona and State College offices. Prior to receiving her law license, Alexandra served as a law clerk at Steinbacher, Goodall & Yurchak since August of 2024. Alexandra assisted the estate and long-term care planning team in State College and Altoona with drafting wills, trusts and powers of attorney, as well as attending signings and attorney-client meetings.

While at Penn State Law, Alexandra was a member of Phi Delta Phi, a legal fraternity promoting professional ethics in the law. She also was a member of the Women’s Law Caucus that encouraged and supported women in the legal field. Alexandra worked as a “Law Lion” at Penn State Law where she connected with potential Penn State Law students and was a resource for any questions they may have had about beginning law school. In the summers between her years of law school, she interned with DeBoef Lucchesi P.C., a practice in State College, where she drafted various documents in the area of family law. Alexandra has also been drafting estate planning documents for many years while interning for her aunt, a solo practitioner.

Alexandra is a “double Penn Stater” and earned her bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications with a minor in Media Studies from Penn State in 2021. After office hours, she enjoys reading thriller novels, watching reality television, and spending time with her family and their many dogs.

Cortney is the business financial planner and analyst for Steinbacher, Goodall & Yurchak and has been with the firm since March 2021. She began her career with the law firm as a senior staff Accountant and transitioned to the business financial planner and analyst role in 2022, in which she heads up the firm's finance operations.

Cortney graduated from Northeastern University with her bachelor's of science degree in business administration with a concentration in accounting and finance. Cortney also holds a master's of science degree in accounting from Northeastern. She resides in Boston, Mass., and enjoys reading and traveling in her free time.

Lauren joined us at the end of January 2024 as an Administrative Assistant. She assists various attorneys with estate planning and long-term care planning in both the Altoona and State College offices.

In her free time, Lauren enjoys playing with her dog, spending time with friends and family, reading, and playing volleyball.
