Tammy has been employed as a long-term care planner with Steinbacher, Goodall & Yurchak since February 2007. A long-term care planner is a non-attorney professional role.
Tammy is a graduate of Eastern University, St. Davids, Pennsylvania. She holds a bachelor’s degree in social work with a minor in gerontology. Prior to her employment with Steinbacher, Goodall & Yurchak, Tammy worked for several years as a home and community based waiver case manager for an agency on aging in Vermont. After she and her family relocated to Pennsylvania, she was employed as a home health and hospice social worker.
As a long-term care planner, Tammy assists the clients of the firm in exploring their options for long-term care services and in applying for benefits to pay for in-home and nursing home care. Her passion is helping elders and their caregivers understand community resources, explore the options available to them, and achieve their goals.
Tammy lives in Williamsport with her husband, Matt, and son, Kaleb.

She has co-authored The Pennsylvania Trust Guide (Editions I and II), The Pennsylvania Special Needs Planning Guide, as well several books in a Protect Your Family series that inform people about planning for the second half of life.
