Julieanne Steinbacher, Esq., CELA and H. Amos Goodall, Esq., CELA, LLM, have been named to the Pennsylvania Business Central Top 100 People of 2020. This annual list, which is published each January, recognizes 100 people representing large and small businesses and nonprofits from throughout Pennsylvania Business Central's 23-county footprint, which includes both Lycoming and Centre Counties, where Steinbacher, Goodall & Yurchak has offices. This list highlights and celebrates the Top 100 people in business and economic development who have made a dynamic impact on their organizations and communitities.
This marks the third time that Julie has been named to the Pennsylvania Business Central Top 100 People list, as she was also honored on this list in both 2016 and 2018. The founding shareholder of Steinbacher, Goodall & Yurchak, Julie is Certified as an Elder Law Attorney (CELA) by the National Elder Law Foundation, and has a "superb" AVVO rating for attorneys and was named a Super Lawyers Rising Star. Julie also received a Special Achievement Award from the Pennslyvania Bar Association in 2015, recognizing her dedication and commitment to the PBA's quality of life/balance committee. Julie has lectured extensively for several organizations including the Elder Law Institute, Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants and many more, and is the president of Estate & Long Term Care Planning, Inc. This is Amos' second straight year on the Pennslyvania Business Central Top 100 people list. He has been practicing law in Centre County since 1976, and is also Certified as an Elder Law Attorney (CELA). He is a member of the Special Needs Alliance, whic his a private practice group representing individuals and families of persons with disabilities by coordinating private resources with public benefit programs. Amos has been an active member of several community organizations over his career, including the Centre Foundation, Foxdale Village, the Centre County Youth Service Bureau and several more, and has also served as a solicitor to a number of other organizations. He is currently serving a two-year term as president of the National Elder Law Foundation. In 2017, he was named Pennsylvania Lawyer of the Year by the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys.
